To mark the AMA’s 40th Anniversary the AMA will stage a revised Industry meeting format, the 2017 AMP Conference, with a focus on professional development, while honouring the history of the industry and the individuals that have been at the forefront of its development.
Our members receive priority on the available presentation and suite packages which provide great value as Delegate registration rates for what is offered NAMM has again offered its support to our industry with sponsorship of the NAMM Retail Boot Camp sessions and has committed the attendance of it’s Historian, Mr Dan Del Fiorentino.
The Inaugural Australian Music Products (AMP) conference is the result of extensive consultation with the industry. The key feedback received was that there was a desire for an industry trade event. And a conference focused on training & professional development has been supported in the conversations had so far with both wholesalers and retailers.
The delivery of training by the AMA has been a priority goal set by the committee and this event will deliver this training.
The AMP Conference concept is not centred on buying and selling. It is focused on industry training, professional development and face-to-face time with wholesalers and one that seeks to assist industry leaders in improving their business.
We seek to create opportunities for wholesalers to engage with retailers without the need for a trade display, but via presentations, seminars, sponsored business and social activities.
