Steve Legg, Yamaha’s long-time Assistant National Sales Manager in the Music Products Division has resigned from the company due to health reasons. Steve has been recovering from surgery and is currently undergoing treatment. Steve has been a valuable member of the AMA’s executive committee and on behalf of all his mates and colleagues we wish him well, and thank him for his industry work to date.

Mannys Sold

After more than 25 years as an iconic Melbourne music retail business, Manny Gauci Seddon has announced that he has sold his interest in the business. The purchaser has not been officially announced, but Manny wrote “I will be gone by November 1. Manny’s will continue under the new owners and all staff will remain”.

Steve Ainsworth has just started as a southern states rep for National Music. Steve has had a break from the industry since his years at Jade. He will replace Michael Pappas who recently moved to Maton. Welcome back Steve!

The Resource Corporation  played host to 2 visitors from Konig & Meyer on their way to the Music China Show in Shanghai last week. Christian Kammer (International Sales Manager) and Werner Scheuermann (Product Manager) spent two days in Melbourne visiting music and pro audio retailers and taking in some of the sights of the town. During the visit they were able to share insights on product development and gather information on what retailers and professionals are looking for in future designs.
